Job description / Role
Our client, an Indian Restaurant is looking for a hardworking and efficient Commis Chef to support the Sous Chef and perform the following duties and responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Accurately measuring meal ingredients for the Sous Chef.
• Preparing meal ingredients, which includes seasoning of different meats as well as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits.
• Preparing basic salads and sauces as directed by the Sous Chef.
• Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality.
• Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the Sous chef of low or depleted supplies.
• Discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that work stations are properly sanitized.
AED 1500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
• Must have a minimum 1 year UAE Experience,hard working, flexible, versatile and has passion on food to support the Sous Chef.
