Title:
Commissioning Team Leader

Reporting to: Commissioning Manager

Summary:
Assist the Commissioning manager to organize, plan and manage the execution of the Commissioning activities for gas producing / processing facilities, located both Onshore and Offshore, including integration activities at different phases of the Project.
- Experience of ADNOC, BP, Total (or a similar organisation)
- Must have a recognised Technical qualification for the position.
- A Broad range of experience, at least 10 years, in the commissioning and project management for the Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas industry.
- The ability to co-ordinate and provide assurance on Oil & Gas Process design, installation and completions activities.
- Requires an in depth knowledge of Project Completions Systems (ICAPS, GOC WinPCS, etc)
- Requires an in depth knowledge of Oil & Gas process plant & equipment.
- Requires an in depth knowledge of Compressors & ancillary systems.
- Requires an in depth knowledge of H2S removal, gas sweetening & dehydration systems.
- Requires an in depth knowledge of condensate sweetening systems
- Requires an in depth knowledge of hot oil and flare systems
- Requires an in depth knowledge of Power Generation and distribution.
- Requires an in depth knowledge of ICSS and control systems.
- Requires an in depth knowledge of offshore wellhead platforms
- Experience of pipelines and pigging operations
- Experience in Commissioning of Utility packages.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Experience of multicultural project teams.

Anticipated Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide a positive role in promoting good HSE culture
- Evaluation of safety hazards and participation of risk assessments.
- Review and approve Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning activities at Yard and Offshore locations.
- Review and approve discipline status indices by system.
- Assist planning Engineer to establish commissioning network, priorities, durations and look ahead schedules.
- Provide assistance to preservation maintenance team.
- Review operating philosophies & operator guides.
- Review Commissioning & start up spares including Vendor spare parts and consumable list.
- Review of materials, tools & test equipment required for commissioning.
- Review the HSSE requirements of all specialist equipment/fluids.
- Review vendor packages for compliance with specifications witness site acceptance tests and Operational Tests.
- Identification of temporary equipment required for commissioning of the facility
- Assist EPC contractor & monitor execution of work for acceptance of Mechanically Complete sub-systems including punch out, clearance and handover

Requirements

- Interface with Engineering support personnel on technical matters.
- Review and acceptance of Operational Test Procedures.
- Review of specific method statements / procedures.
- Review of isolation registers during commissioning phase.
- Witness individual equipment noise and vibration surveys
- Witness chemical cleaning or flushing operations
- Witness purging operations
- Witness EPC contractor activities during process system dynamic commissioning utilising safe fluids.
- Witness vessels for internal inspection, isolations, air movers & temporary lighting.
- Witness process first fill & top up of process systems.
- Witness change out of commissioning & start up filters & strainers.
- Review and approve Nitrogen/Helium Sensitive Leak test packs.
- Co-ordinate and direct technicians and ADNOC operations technicians to progress Commissioning activities in line with Project Planning Priorities and Commissioning Procedures.
- Provide assistance to operations during start up.
- Conduct performance testing for the facilities.
