A new opportunity exists for a Compliance Officer to join their team in their Downtown offices.

This is a time of expansion for the organisation and as such they are keen to ensure that as they further develop, there is no compromise with the quality and compliance management of all services offered to their clients. Supporting the full cycle of activities, you will ensure that all policies and procedures address any gaps and are fit for purpose, whilst supporting the Head of Compliance.

Responsibilities of this role include performing risk assessments to ascertain the scope of work required, KYC due diligence and protocol and ensuring that all documentation and records are maintained to an exceptionally high standard. Any non-compliance issues will be escalated to the Head, and you will be instrumental in the follow up and course of action taken forwards. Overall, you will continuously strive to improve the department’s standards by always ensuring robust and effective control, with high levels of discretion and confidentiality. The successful individual will also maintain their knowledge with regards to changes in legislation and be commercially aware and proactive.

Requirements

To be shortlisted for this role it is expected that you will degree educated, in either Business, Law or Administration and 2-5 years exposure within compliance (preferably based in UAE). A strong communicator in English, those who are also Arabic speaking are viewed as highly desirable for this role.
