Job description / Role
We are seeking a junior compliance office, someone who is perhaps seeking their 2nd role to report to the CFO of an intimate asset management / private office based in the DIFC. You will assist with all aspects of compliance, due diligence and implementation to support our client as they continue their growth and provide full administrative support around local compliance and international licensing laws.
Candidates should understand the laws and regulations of the DIFC jurisdiction and the DFSA regulatory requirements, be aware of changes, rule updates and ensure the company framework and SOP are in line with these policies. Working in conjunction with the CFO, you will ensure timely regulatory filings, and be able to conduct AML / KYC documentation. You will assist in investigating and reporting any compliance incidents, identify causes and implement mitigation plans. You will support the CFO with ongoing reviews of risk factors and indicators, regular gap analysis and perform mini audit of compliance processes.
Requirements
To apply for this vacancy, we are seeking a minimum of 1-2 years of compliance experience with a relevant university qualification. A highly inclusive team player, you must have a strong administrative skill set and be able to take on adhoc tasks as and when required. Experience with data protection/ AML/ KYC is required at a junior level. Additionally, it would be advantageous if candidates have a basic knowledge of Hedge Fund operation.
