About The Global Payment team of Tiktok provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on Tiktok.
Responsibilities:
- Promoting, demonstrating and embedding a strong compliance culture
- Oversee systems and controls to identify and mitigate potential areas of compliance vulnerabilities and risks and develop corrective action plans
- Review and revise compliance programs and controls to meet applicable legislations
- Leading ad hoc compliance projects related to the MENA region as and when required
- Providing guidance, training and ongoing support to employees on compliance matters
- Identify and review management information and data reports, perform trend analysis and identifying risks. Proactively manage financial and economic crime risks.
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to regulatory engagement, channel partnerships, group's global compliance, legal and corporate governance
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrate knowledge and ability to identify Financial Crime and Sanctions typologies related to the payments and e-commerce space
- Understanding of performing financial crime risk assessments in line with requirements and guidance. The capability to assess risk and control, highlight deficiencies and recommend improvements
- Prior management experience to lead compliance activity, including working with regulators, examiners and auditors.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the UAE and globally
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of Compliance management experience in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, preference is given to candidates who have managed payments, banking or other financial services compliance programs TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
