Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an esteemed global events company who are currently looking to hire a highly-organised and experienced Conference Manager who will be based in their Dubai office.
The main responsibilities for the successful candidate will involve the creation and coordination of high quality, commercial business conferences that will meet the needs of the target audience and provide valuable marketing and networking opportunities to the event sponsors and exhibitors.
In addition, key duties for this exciting role include the undertaking of both national and global market research to ensure the highest quality content, target markets and sponsorship for the event. The successful candidate will also be required to structure the conference programme and invite and confirm speakers. An important part of this role will involve forming positive working relationships and communicating with key business partners and colleagues within different areas of the organisation to ensure a continuous smooth operation from start to finish.
Requirements
The success candidate should have demonstrated experience within the industry and hold a relevant Degree. Additionally, the candidate should be creative and customer focused with excellent interpersonal and time-management skills. Due to the role requirements the candidate needs to be fluent in English both verbally and written. Minimum of 2-3 years in similar role preferred.
