Job description / Role
Our client a leading law firm in the Middle East is looking for a Conflicts Advisor to join a rapidly growing company. They are seeking a Conflicts Advisor to assist with analysing / reviewing conflict clearance for new business hires identifying potential conflict issues.
The main objective of this position is to comply with my client’s conflict checking procedures.
Duties Include
• Review / analyse conflict search results and approve clearance of conflicts
• Draft communication to lawyers identifying potential risks
• Escalate complicated conflict issues
• Draft waiver letters for Lawyers
• Send daily conflict emails to the Lawyers
• Update Conflict of Interest procedures
• Maintain inhouse conflicts system
• Provide cover for conflict checking over the weekend on a rotational basis
• Assist with project improving compliance knowledge across the company
• Train Lawyers on conflicts system and best practices
• Create reports and presentations
• Update corporate registers e.g. director changes / beneficial owners
• Sending reminders to clients regarding deadlines and compliance actions
• Issuing share certificates
• Draft articles/ client alerts for Marketing and Business Development initiatives
• Implement Intapp One Place for Risk
• Maintain company conflict database / CRM system
Salary:
AED
10,000 to 15,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you must have a minimum two years’ experience working in conflicts and/or new business in a law firm. I am seeking individuals who are results driven, able to make decisions and are self-motivated.

Requirements
• Education level – Law degree is desirable
• Fluent English – business level
• 2+ years’ experience in the UAE / GCC region
• Desirable you have legal or corporate experience
