Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:
Consolidation and Financial Systems Manager is responsible for managing financial planning system and Reporting and Consolidation System i.e. SAP Business Objects Financial Consolidation (BOFC), SAP Business Objects Planning and Consolidation (BPC) or similar systems. He / She should utilize financial background in managing functional aspects of financial systems.

Permanent Responsibilities:
• Manage & update consolidation rules for all reporting categories (sales, actual, forecast, 5 year plan and budget categories at group level).
• Control scopes, exchange rates and consolidations definitions.
• Internal reporting and reporting to the holding company.
• Basic Report design (new reports, change of existing reports as per Management, requirements and support).
• Manage Consolidation system - Analytics system data sending (rules, mapping, analytics link, interface, verification).
• Booking central manual correction/reclassification entries for consolidations (Management & Financial).
• Analyse, test and approve all system changes requested by end users. Co-ordinate and guide the technical team to develop and deliver required functionality in systems.
• Calculate dividends and follow up booking and rates.
• External auditor support and data analysis.
• Financial and management reporting and validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce/finance or equivalent.
• Advance functional and technical knowledge of ERP system (Oracle JDE and SAP preferred).
• Strong IT skills, with exposure to managing financial system parameters.
• Hard worker, responsible, accurate, technical & functional problem solving in limited time.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• English (Full professional proficiency - Required); Arabic (Professional efficiency – Advantage).
• 2-5 year experience (preferably in similar role); 2+ years in Retail Business preferred.
