The opportunity
Project: This is an opportunity to work on a large hospitality project in one of the emirates of the UAE.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing projects at a strategic level.
• Creating vision and strategy and managing ds people through change.
• Monitoring project performance in key areas (safety management, risk assessment, risk management, value management.
• Understanding financial/legal aspects of projects (contracts/insurance), statutory requirements, legal framework (local rules and regulations), safety regulations, and environmental legislation.
• Providing strategic level leadership and will work with the client and project stakeholders on all key project matters.
• Managing and motivating the Mace team.
• Managing relationships with the client and other project stakeholders.
• Being able to responsible for approval and teams’ compliance with the project execution plan, and ensure that all relevant parties, through your team, understand these project objectives.
• Ensuring the project is planned, managed, and monitored and robust and accurate reporting is in place.
• Complying with Mace processes and procedures and delivering our services in line with Mace core values.
• Ensuring the project planning and monitoring of the progress is in line with the strategic goals and in compliance with Mace procedures. Ensure reporting of issues is accurate and timely.
• Ensuring the project team develops all necessary project plans and keeps them updated and relevant over the course of the project.
Requirements
About you
You have an HND or degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture, chartered/registered member of a relevant institution (e.g. CIOB or ICE), 20+ years of experience, you are proactive in managing the happiness and wellbeing of your team.
