Job description / Role
A leading international EPC contractor who specialises in a wide range of activities in refineries, gas and petrochemical plants, providing design and construction services are currently looking to recruit a Construction Manager for their UAE business.
Role
• General management (Construction, QC, HSE, Material, Manpower, Budget etc.)
• Lead a multi-discipline team of Structural/Mechanical/Piping together with Civil, Electrical and Instrument
• Responsible in obtaining all necessary resources, materials,
and engineering deliverables for the successful execution of the Project.
• Coordinate arrangements between Key personnel and subcontractors to provide appropriate work site access to all parties
The duties and responsibilities of the Construction Manager
includes, but are not limited to the following:
• Perform construction activities in accordance with schedule and all technical requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers and arrange construction activities during execution.
• Support planning manager on budget changes depending on the changes of construction quantity.
Requirements
• An Engineering degree/Bachelor’s degree holder
• 15 years or more experience in the construction industry
• A minimum of 10 years experience as a Construction Manager in the Oil & Gas Projects
• At least 5 years experience working as a Construction Manager in the Middle East Countries
• SMP Construction Manager or Deputy Construction Manager experience required.
• Civil and E&I experience is an advantage.
• Prefer global EPC Contractor or Sub-Contractor experience
• Direct Construction work experience is a Must
• Having leadership quality to manage all indirect and direct manpower on site and deliver the planned progress.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
