Job description / Role
As a leading retail group with their Head Office based in Dubai and retail & e-commerce operations throughout the GCC region this multi faced and award winning retail group is expanding their Digital Team. With a newly created role of Content Manager – Social Media the role will be responsible for the end to end social media content for the brand.
The Role:
• Reporting to the Head of Marketing you will be tasked with managing the brands social media presence across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter & Pinterest
• Be responsible for managing and rollout of social media strategies and engagement
• Working closely with Marketing & CRM peers you will create and implement exciting media campaigns to further engage with customers and followers
• Working with the internal Marketing / Buying & PR team to set a promotional calendar
• Working with marketing to create new promotional material that would be suitable for the Middle East market
• Working closely with external media agencies to create and implement campaigns
• Be responsible for the brands website content management and ensure information is up to date
Requirements
Your background:
• The ideal candidate must have a Degree in a Marketing discipline, preferably Digital focus
• Minimum of 5 years commercial experience in Social Media / Content Management is essential
• Minimum of 2 years current experience as a Social Media Content Manager – ideally in a retail / e-commerce / brand environment
• Must have strong communication skills in English both written & verbal, Arabic would be highly desirable
• Proven abilities to create, develop and implement successful social media marketing campaigns with a ROI, including photoshoots
• Must be a team player and ability to work in a time sensitive & dynamic work culture
• An outgoing, positive & adaptable personality is critical for working in the Middle East along with an element of patience working in a multi-cultural team environment
• Excellent skills within MS Office, Google Adwords, SEO tools and high level copywriting skills are critical
