Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Below are the General Duties and Responsibilities of the position which will be specified upon final stages of the interview process:

• Overseeing all company contracts and maintaining compliance within the terms and conditions of the contracts; ensuring performance and deliverables are met; reports are prepared and delivered in a timely manner in accordance with local and international laws and best practices.
• Preserve the Company’s rights and entitlements as provided in the Contract.
• Establish and implement project-specific contractual and commercial procedures, particularly regarding claims, insurance, correspondence and notification.
• Provide systematic and efficient analysis of contractual requirements and management of the execution of such contracts made with customers, partners, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers for the purpose of maximizing financial and operational performance and minimizing risks.
• Draft, negotiate and review all types of agreements (i.e. Non-Disclosure Agreements, Sales/Purchasing Agreements, Sub-contracts, Consulting Agreements, Licensing Agreements, and Master Agreements).
• Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects.
• Provide support on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff, including training to new project managers and other employees in contracting practices and procedures.
• Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy.
• Monitor compliance by company employees with established procedures. Identify areas to improve or rectify.
• Review and finalizing of Main Contract documents.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of all elements of the Contract to meet all statutory, regulatory, business, strategic requirements

Requirements

• Must have more than 10 years of working experience in the UAE as a main contractor
• Must have experience in multi-million Roads, Bridges and Infrastructure projects
• Minimum Years of Experience: 10 years
• Minimum Educational qualification is Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the Job Position
• Must possess strong leadership qualities. Must be able to work as part of a team as well as manage a team.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational & project management skills
• Technical understanding of construction
• Must be adept with UAE Laws and Regulations
• Strong Knowledge of FIDIC, CESMM
• Excellent knowledge of contractual terms and conditions with the ability to identify and mitigate contractual risk
• Analytical and Problem Solving Skill
• Ability to work under pressure
