Control Room Operator

As the Control Room Operator, you are responsible for monitoring the control of fire and safety equipment i.e. Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting System Facilities and property. You will conduct patrol of the premises using CCTV internally noting results.

What you will be doing:

- Monitoring and surveying key areas of the ship for all potential hazards directly affecting the health and safety of the all occupants
- Supervising and ensuring compliance with the established Safety Protocols and adherence to all every aspects including updates and amendments which involve liaising with the Safety Officer
- Coordinates the notification across appropriate departments in the case of an emergency, guest service request, or any other situation, which requires dispatching of personnel to resolve or assist with the problem.
- Pointing out improvements on any existing security plans/measures and bringing about changes by communicating the same to the Safety Officer.
- Ensure that all incidents, which occur during the shift / duties, are reported promptly and recorded as per established procedures and guidelines and efficiently dealt with.
- Assists in fire and evacuation drills for all employees.
- Conducts training programs for security personnel and others.
- Keeps oneself updated of the latest security systems and fire detection and prevention techniques and equipment.
- Ensures that all the organizational policies, rules and regulations are adhered to.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Prior experience with
- In depth knowledge
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
