Job description / Role
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of commercial contracts and agreements (distribution, franchising, commercial lease, general terms and conditions – B2B and B2C).
• Advise clients with practical legal business solutions to achieve their goals.
• Responsible for offering specialist legal expertise on a full range of corporate and commercial legal matters.
• Write legal articles on various legal topics or updates.
• Research topical legal information to present in a legal seminar.
• A Bachelor’s degree in law.
• Minimum of 10+ years’ post qualified experience working in a law firm or in-house.
• Strong knowledge and experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Qualified with a Western (UK, Australia, USA) qualification in common law jurisdiction.
• Experience in employment law, real-estate law and succession planning are highly advantageous.
• Provides a professional, quality service in a timely manner, and responds effectively to requests from clients
• Exceptional analytical and research skills, with the ability to deliver prompt and commercially astute advice.
• Perfect command of English, spoken and written. Other languages will be considered an advantage but are not a pre-requisite.
