Charterhouse is working with an offshore law firm who is looking to hire an additional Corporate / Funds Associate with c. NQ - 2 PQE + to join their Dubai office. The firm would be interested in a high quality Common Law qualified Junior Associate to undertake a broad ranging corporate and funds work, with a focus on offshore transactions and investment vehicles.
The role will involve working closely with the lead Partners in the Dubai office, as well as part of the wider international network. The firm is long standing in the Middle East / offshore market, with a good reputation and client base. The firm is looking for a Junior Lawyer with a strong corporate and funds experience gained during a training contract or post-qualification. This is an excellent opportunity to join well established law firm in the UAE market with clear long-term career developments prospects and the opportunity to work on high profile deals on offer for an ambitious individual.
The successful candidate should be a Common Law qualified Corporate and Funds Solicitor with c. NQ - 2 years + post qualification either already based in the UAE / Middle East or interested in relocating from the UK, Australia, New Zealand etc. You should have experience at an international / legal directories ranked law firm, with off or onshore experience as well as experience of dealing with a broad range of corporate work. The work will involve acting in relation offshore for high profile clients and complex matters, so demonstrable experience of transactions is essential, combined with excellent academics. There is an interest in candidates with offshore law firm experience, or those with a good corporate / funds experience who would be interested in developing a focus on the area. Arabic language skills are not required. Excellent tax free remuneration and package on offer to attract a high calibre individual.
