Our client operates as a food import and distribution firm, specializing in sourcing and delivering top-tier branded meats and dry food items globally to various sectors including retail, hospitality, catering, and hotels across the UAE and wider GCC regions.

Description

* Analyzing and managing costs
* Developing and maintaining cost accounting systems to track expenses and identify areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement
* Conducting regular cost variance analysis to compare actual costs to budgeted or standard costs
* Collaborating with procurement and production teams to optimize purchasing decisions and minimize waste
* Generating reports and presenting findings to management to support strategic decision-making
* Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations in all cost-related activities
* Participating in budgeting and forecasting processes to provide accurate cost projections
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives across the operations

Requirements

* 3-5 years of experience in a similar cost accounting role
* Professional qualifications are a plus
* Good communication skills
* GCC experience is required
