Employment: Full Time

Key Roles and Responsibilities

* Understand business needs and to implement suitable and effective learning solutions within reasonable timeframes and costs.
* Ensure proper structure in designing programmes to meet local training needs - following the Group criteria
* Engage in performance consulting conversations with the Business, at all levels - identification of learning and performance needs, providing the right and effective solution and use of appropriate channels.
* Create a process of effective pre and post learning engagement for sustainability and for reviewing the impact of Learning wherever relevant.
* Timely and effective execution of all Group and Regulatory Roadmap training - Technical & EMD
* Effective usage of the EIBFS channel to maximize investment.
* Work closely with the Strategic Manpower Planning Head to ensure design & implementation of learning interventions related to UAE Talent.
* Engaging with Regional Team (Pakistan & Africa) to seek and share best practices and look for opportunities to continuously improve the processes and the way we work.
* Developing a training calendar based on training needs analysis carried out with Business Stakeholders and executing to a plan
* Working and Sharing best practices with other Heads of Learning Academies
* Working closely with the HRBPs to ensure aligned, holistic learning solutions to the Business.
* Create a platform to encourage Leader-led learning solutions
* Hiring and Retaining the appropriate profile of facilitators to deliver the Business, HR and Learning Agenda
* Framing and Executing a 70-20-10 Learning framework for the Facilitators development
* Ensure Trainer Certification Standards are followed. Planning and Executing - Critical experiences for facilitators to be CORE certified. To work on development plans for Advanced and Expert Certification
* Engagement and Development of facilitators. Cross specialty skill Building and involvement in new projects.
* Capacity Planning and solution creation for gaps / surplus capacity. Monitoring and reviewing the capacity utilization of the facilitator team against Group Standards.
* Implementing an effective performance management system for the team
* Attending facilitator sessions to ensure standards are being met and to give feedback to facilitators
* Structured 1 on 1 Coaching sessions with all facilitators
* Design structured on the job learning interventions for our Emirati talent.
* Implement & monitor programme admin process end-to-end. Streamlining processes across ME & LSSC.

Towards Governance, Audit, Process, MIS, Analytics, Budgets

* Create and Manage the Country and Region's Learning Risk Register and represent it at the Operational Risk Committees
* Instil a Governance operating rhythm within the Learning Team to ensure an optimum working model between the Team & the relevant stakeholders (HR & Business)
* Work with Group Learning & Academies to ensure alignment on country and Group requirements
* Work with the Training team to ensure curricula is driven across the frontline and is as per LA Governance Standards
* Conduct of internal Audits in the Academy to measure & control trainer effectiveness based on the Governance model.
* Monitor completion rates of all mandatory programmes across the Region
* Ensure the trainers in the team meet minimum governance related tasks such as productivity, facilitation standards, stakeholder management, and programme management discipline (updating material & training methodology as required to improve efficiencies)
* Proper utilization of Learning Academy space.
* Ensure proper recording of learning activity across the bank.
* Working and collaborating with the Group Learning team to co-create Business solutions
* Structured and informal communication network with the Group Learning Team
* Active involvement in relevant Group Projects whenever required.

Requirements

Knowledge
* Degree in a business discipline preferred; post*graduate qualifications in business administration, adult education or relevant discipline desirable.
* Proven track record in own area of specialization
* Relevant experience in Business and / or Training.
* Strong conceptual and domain knowledge of Learning and Instructional Design
* Strategic Thinker, Analytic, Influencer, Solution Provider
* Knowledge and Understanding of the Banking Business

Skills
* Strong verbal and written communication
* Self motivated with high energy level and passionate about people development
* Ability to negotiate with and influence stakeholders.
* Strong and Impactful Facilitator / Performance Coach.
