Job Position: Cross Carline Product Planning Associate Manager

Job Purpose:
- Support the Product function in all aspects of Cross-carline (CCL) Product & Technology Planning (Line-up, New Concepts, Safety, ADAS, Autonomy, Connectivity, UX, CAFÉ, Homologation & Regulation).

Main Responsibilities:

[Product Strategy]
- Pilot cross-carline feature & non-feature value strategy through extensive consumer & competitor analysis & obtain key stakeholders’ support at RHQ/HQ to ensure brand consistency throughout product portfolio.
- Work with all Product Managers on spec & trim strategy alignment with overall CCL outlook to ensure KIA promise is preserved from customer point of view.
- Support to create LRPP (Long-Range Product Planning) proposals including line-up analysis for key markets & propose optimized portfolio for maximum efficiency & effectiveness. Additionally, support to create New Concept product proposals.
- Support brainstorming & research direction for MI studies (Needs Analysis, Trend analysis, Other).

[Pricing]
- Liaise with multiple teams in RHQ/HQ on regional price setting of new technology. Work with Market Intelligence team on relevant surveys to understand future needs & willingness to pay.
- FOB database management: Maintain track of all historical movements between FOB & Retail price including subsidy records.

[Homologation & Regulation]
- Verify, review & collect homologation procedures from relevant teams to ensure on-time processing/SOP.
- Support to collect annual homologation plan schedule & manage homologation database. Co-operate to get relevant certificates from HQ for every MY across line-up.
- Check & update regulations from each region. When necessary, liaise with AMBG/ESMA/GSO/SASO authorities on regulation exemptions/implementation timings etc.
- Update & communicate with HQ regarding regulation implementation & support to build action plan across line-up to meet updated regulation.
- KSA CAFÉ: Work with relevant members to manage CAFÉ outlook & discuss penalty mitigation techniques with HQ/RHQ teams.

Requirements

Candidate Profile:
- Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field
- Educational Preferences: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or in Business Administration
- Language: Required English Proficiency / Arabic (Advantage)
- Gender: Male or female
