Job description / Role
• Lead and manage the culinary team in creating and executing innovative, high-quality menus and culinary experiences that meet the needs of our guests and exceed their expectations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the highest quality and most cost-effective ingredients are used in the preparation of all food and beverage offerings.
• Develop and implement culinary policies and procedures that comply with local health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Develop and execute training programs for the culinary team to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest culinary techniques, trends, and best practices.
• Continuously review and improve the culinary offerings to stay ahead of the competition and meet the evolving needs of our guests.
• Manage the culinary department's budget and ensure that all expenditures are within the approved limits.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales, Marketing, and Events, to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience across all touchpoints.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to the culinary team to support their growth and development.

• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in the culinary field, with at least 5 years of experience in an Executive Chef role and managing a large team within a large and established hotel environment.
• Experience in developing and executing innovative and high-quality menus and culinary experiences that meet the needs of a diverse range of guests.
• Strong knowledge of local and international cuisine, cooking techniques, and industry trends.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluent in English, with additional languages being an advantage.
