Our EY MENA Innovation team's mission is to foster an innovation culture at EY MENA (Middle East and North Africa), ensuring we have the right capabilities (talent, processes, and resources) to thrive through change and be active agents of the transformation of our business. The team plays a critical role in helping the firm realize this purpose through exploring, testing, and implementing new ideas to address the most relevant business challenges across our five service lines. As we expand and improve our reach, we are looking for someone to support building an innovative culture across our business.

Your key responsibilities:

As the Culture Designer, your mission is to design, launch and run programs to build an innovation culture within EY MENA, covering 16 countries and influencing over 7,500 EY people. Reporting to the Innovation Director, you will, primarily:

- Design, plan and execute internal community-building programs , such as Innovation Ambassadors, organizing and facilitating recurring virtual and in-person gatherings, producing and distributing content via newsletters and other channels
- Design, plan and execute internal innovation learning & development programs , such as Reversed Mentoring, Design Thinking EY Badges and, Ignite, organizing and facilitating recurring virtual and in-person gatherings, producing and distributing content
- Design, plan and execute initiatives that strengthen EY's connection to external players , such as startups, founders, investors and the entrepreneurship community at large, organizing and facilitating recurring virtual and in-person gatherings, producing and distributing content
- Design, curate, produce and distribute the EYNext newsletter and other communication initiatives required to strengthen the value proposition of innovation across MENA
- Organize and facilitate innovation workshops, supporting internal teams to innovate by applying tools such as Design Thinking, Business Model Canvas, ideation techniques, prototyping, piloting and testing methods
- Create, plan and obtain approval for new innovation culture-building programs
- Manage the roadmap, resourcing, and budget for the culture-building programs, ensuring that the programs are delivered within the approved timeframes, and effectively investing the allocated resources
- Collect, review and report metrics that will allow us to improve our programs

Requirements

Skills and attributes for success:

- Proven experience creating, implementing and running internal innovation and culture-building programs
- Solid expertise applying creativity tools and innovation methods, being able to select from a "tool kit" the ones best suited to each situation
- Proven experience producing and distributing content
- Practice facilitating meetings, working sessions, and workshops, with a varied number of participants
- Demonstrate strong communications skills in a wide range of situations and with people at all levels within the organization, from junior associates to senior leadership, including Partners and C-suite
- Strong business acumen
- High energy and dynamism, demonstrating a hands-on approach, resilience, comfort dealing with ambiguity and working on a start-up-like environment within a large corporation
- A strong team player, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually, and with little guidance
- Excellent time management and organizing skills

To qualify you must have:

- A university degree (or relevant working experience in lieu, with extensive continuous learning opportunities). We believe in diversity and will welcome a variety of backgrounds as long as you can demonstrate the appropriate fit
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic and other languages are a plus
