Job description / Role
We are looking for a dynamic candidate that will be able to offer our clients incredible individualized customer care, maximizing our potential in the market by not only retaining the customers we have but also increasing sales and transaction amounts.
The candidate will be:
- Developing relationships with clients, by being the main point of contact.
- Liaising between the different departments to come up with effective and efficient solutions between the internal departments (accounts, logistics, and order desk) for clients.
- Handling full customer liaison for export clients regarding their orders, payments and deliveries.
- Forecasting and tracking accounts, presenting key metrics to management on a monthly basis.
- Creating new customer accounts: ensuring relevant paperwork and credit application is received.
- Ensuring our website and ordering systems are running smoothly and up to date.
- Greeting walk in customers and showing them around the warehouse to showcase new arrivals and products..
- Helping to organize and participate in key marketing and client events.
- Keeping up to date with product knowledge and training is essential through official training sessions and continuous reading.
- Recommending new products to clients - up selling and cross selling when needed.
- Helping management come up with new ways and strategies to create individualized incentives for customers.
- Working with Marketing department to help maximize exposure of products and communicate better with clients.
Requirements
Soft Skills and Personality traits:
- A Highly motivated, extremely organised and people centric individual that can work independently and within a small team.
- It is essential the candidate is a good communicator, able to get the best out of people, can prioritize and find solutions quickly.
- Being an animal lover is essential. Experience of pet ownership or working in the pet industry is a real bonus!
