Job description / Role
My client, based out of the UAE, provide warehousing, distribution, supply chain and transportation services across the Middle East. Operating out of their headquarters in Dubai, they maintain a state-of-the-art management system in order to maximize client services and accessibility.
They are now providing Logistics services to Chemical industries across the MENA region. Due to this expansion, they require a Dangerous Goods Specialist to assist with material management, warehousing, HSE and review/approvals of hazardous products.
You will be reporting into the HSE Manager and supporting various Warehouse staff regarding the guidelines for chemical handling, storage and transportation.
Requirements
*3-5 years experience in Chemical Industries – either from Logistics or Material Management
*Degree in Chemistry or Safety management highly preferred
*NEBOSH/HSE certifications
*Expert understanding of chemical properties, hazardous goods and processes
