Data Analyst - Automotive

Job description / Role

- Maintain the aftermarket vehicle matrix by loading new data provided by the vehicle data supplier as required and correct any reported errors in the vehicle matrix data;
- Accountable for maintaining data accuracy and catalogue listings with external cataloguing providers;
- Work with external data providers to devise new methods to enhance data accuracy;
- Write, run and check reports to identify and rectify incorrect data and work with external data providers to fix any issues;
- Produce paper catalogues and check if the content is clearly displayed and accurate;
- Identify improvements to data accuracy processes including investigating and implementing the automation of tasks;
- Test new systems created by the software developers by designing test plans and feedback bugs or potential enhancements.

Requirements

- University degree with minimum 5-years’ experience in the field; BSc Computer Science is preferred;
- Experience in an automotive industry is a must;
- Full awareness of spare parts, vehicles, online selling and purchasing;
- Language Skills:
- Fluency in English (oral/written) is essential
- Arabic (native) is an advantage

Skills:
- A good understanding of data presentation to the customers in a clear manner;
- Attention to details and large database analysis;
- Be able to work independently or within a team;
- Must have strong SQL experience with complex queries and updates;
- Experience using electronic parts catalogues (EPC);
- Experience of data entry, collection, design, manipulation and analysis;
- Must have strong communication skills and be able to communicate with different parties;
- Be self-motivated, flexible and willing to go above and beyond to help to deliver projects within tight deadlines.

This position may require local and international travel from time-to-time.
