Employment: Full Time

Our Client is a passionate and dynamic marketing, sales and distribution organisation based in Dubai. On their behalf, we are seeking a Demand Planner to join their logistics team.

This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager, and is responsible for all Forecasting Activities, Inventory Management, & Maintaining Item Master Data.

Key responsibilities of the role:

FORECASTING – experience in this area is of paramount importance:
• Administrator of the Forecasting System.
• Coordinate with IT, Category Managers, Forecasters (as defined per Sales Channel) to ensure complete the Forecasting Cycle, Reports & Processes.
• Point of Contact of the Principals for the Monthly Forecasting Cycle, Inventory Reports, etc.
• Able to establish analysis on the Forecast KPI, Forecast Accuracy, BIAS and HIT Rate.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
• Analyze the Inventory Position for all MMI companies’ in terms of demand, capacity vs availability.
• Create Inventory Replenishment & Transfer Plans to optimize inventory levels and coordinate with Logistic for the scheduling.
• Consolidate special transfer, urgent requirements, and liaise with logistic for priority.

MASTER DATA
• Collect and create within the requested timing all needed item master data
• Audit & maintain the item master database as per the agreed calendar and timings
• Ensure continuously that master data is updated & correct.
• Propose improvement to master data process
• Ensure continuously that master data is accurate and co-ordinate with Finance to ensure updated

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics/ Business Management / Supply Chain.
• Strong Background in Forecasting.
• Understanding the ERP – Material Requirements Planning / Inventory Planning.
• Computer literate, able to compile reports and spreadsheet analysis using MS office suite.
• Previous experience of FMCG environments and products

You must be self-motivated, physically fit and process oriented, with a systemic approach to issues. Excellent leadership abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction and exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal and be well versed in Microsoft Office suite. Fluency in English is required.
