Job description / Role
• Lead a small team of stormwater design engineers in planning and designing stormwater network, network modelling, establishing horizontal and vertical profiles for the design.
• Coordinate closely with other utilities disciplines, ADM Stormwater and roads engineers.
• Well aware of requirements specified in the Contract Documents and following applicable duties related to storm water projects.
• Review and Ensure prompt exchange of correspondence and approvals.
• Coordinate with Contractor and other stake holders.
• Liaise with other Authorities and ADM and approve Contractor’s submissions.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
Requirements
• Engineering Degree (M. Sc.) with 5 year experience or
• Engineering Degree (B. Sc.) with 8 year experience.
• Direct and related experience in storm water design projects with Abu Dhabi Municipality in Abu Dhabi.
• Experience in managing engineering contracts contractual matters, value engineering, procedure, and policies.
• Engineering Master Degree/Bachelors Degree should be authenticated by ministry of higher education & scientific research, UAE.
• Relevant IT skills / Computer literate.
• Excellent command of English and Arabic (Communication and writing skills)
• Valid UAE Driving License.
• Good planning and design report writing.
• Familiar with best practices and international standards primarily with British standards and American standards and ADM design codes.
