Design & Estimation Engineer(Extra Low Voltage) - Fire Alarm System

Job description / Role

- Knowledge in Voice evacuation, Fire Alarm system , Emergency & Exit light system
- Knowledge in AUTOCAD & Revit 3D modelling
- Knowledge in UAE Fire codes & NFPA Standard
- Design and estimate Extra Low Voltage Fire Alarm Systems for various projects
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for client proposals
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to fire alarm systems
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source required materials and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures
- Document project progress and maintain accurate records of design and estimation activities
- Have a strong knowledge in fire alarm, voice evacuation, emergency lighting systems and UAE fire codes.
- Have an ability to adapt easily in work pressure.
- Have a good communication, Microsoft office skills.

Requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in designing and estimating fire alarm systems
- Strong technical skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Physical ability to conduct site surveys and assessments as needed
