Job description / Role
One of Dubai’s leading interior design consultancies who handles high-end residential, royal palaces and commercial projects is looking to grow their team by hiring a Design Manager. This role will report to the GM and will ideally suit someone who is able to lead from the front not only managing a design team, overseeing the management of the showroom but is also a Designer in their own right and is able to drive the presence of the company across the UAE and the region forward.
This incredible role requires someone who is able to lead the Design team and is able to get involved in projects including layouts, presentations and financial aspects. You will be responsible for the complete design process of projects that may include, custom furniture, kitchens, wardrobes and interiors as well as have the responsibility of managing the showroom ensuring the merchandising and display is impeccable.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you will ideally have a Degree in Interior Design or Architecture, have previous experience in the kitchen / furniture industry, primarily working with high end projects and have solid experience in the UAE. You will be someone who is a team player, able to lead from the front, have strong written and verbal communication skills in English as well as be someone that is fast learner and able to work to tight deadlines. In addition you should have strong computer skills with experience in ACAD / Revit and Google Sketch-up or CAD programs.
