Job Purpose The DevSecOps Engineer plays a critical role in the development, deployment, and security of our software products. This role combines development, operations, and security responsibilities to ensure that our CI/CD pipelines are robust, our containers are managed efficiently, our applications are monitored effectively, and our code is secure and of high quality. Job Description CI/CD Pipeline Management:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins with Groovy declaration pipeline and Azure DevOps with YAML pipeline.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pipeline failures.

Container Management:
- Manage Docker containers for efficient deployment and scaling of applications.
- Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes for optimal resource utilization and scalability.
- Implement best practices for container security and lifecycle management.

Monitoring and Observability:
- Set up and configure monitoring tools such as Elastic APM, Grafana, and App Dynamics to ensure high availability and performance of applications.
- Develop monitoring dashboards and alerts to proactively identify and address issues.
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement improvements based on findings.

Security and Code Quality:
- Conduct regular security assessments using tools like VeraCode, SonarQube, and Qualys to identify vulnerabilities in code and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to remediate security findings and improve code quality.
- Implement security controls and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Other Tools:
- Utilize Elastic Search for log aggregation, search, and analysis to support troubleshooting and monitoring efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security and monitoring tools into the development process effectively.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps, security, and software development. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably with a focus on security.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Elastic APM, Grafana, and App Dynamics.
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Experience with code analysis tools such as VeraCode and SonarQube.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Skills - Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Certified Jenkins Engineer).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Groovy.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
