Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Company: The Automotive division of a UAE-based multi billion AED business conglomerate.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To increase and enhance the image of a leading European brand of Cars & maximize sales and profitability of the Division.

REPORTING: Reports to Chief Executive Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages sales team - setting sales targets, monitoring, motivating, problem solving; developing effective incentive scheme; training.
- Has overall responsibility for profitability of Workshop and Spare Parts Division and development of effective operational and marketing strategies to enhance profitability and increase market share.
- Responsible for business development, including finding locations for new showrooms; developing business in existing branches; growth of used car business.
- Develops marketing strategy to position products/models, to increase brand awareness, and strengthen Company image.
- Liaises with advertising companies on design of advertisements/text and media schedule; negotiates with principal regarding extent of joint participation/ funding.
- Organizes launches and promotions at outside events.
- Liaises with Principals in Europe as necessary.
- Liaises with key wholesale corporate customers.
- Ensures that Quality Assurance procedures and other (invoicing, price list, warranty etc.) are observed.
- Oversees ordering, costing/pricing of vehicles and regular update of same.
- Determines specification and standardization of models.
- Oversees stock and inventory control; good order of showroom, demo cars, etc.; gathering of market and competitor information.
- Carries out any additional tasks assigned (in line with qualifications and ability) by the Chief Executive Officer.

Compensation: Salary + Company Car + Bonus + Family Status Benefits.

Requirements

- Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferably.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in GCC (preferably UAE).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Automobile industry with a minimum of 5 years in PV (Cars) sales.
- Experience in overseeing and managing workshops, service centers, used cars business, and spare parts divisions.
- Experience in dealing with the Principals of leading European/American/Asian Car makers.
- Experience in managing and driving sales, marketing, and advertising campaigns.
- Excellent Communication skills in English (Arabic will be an added advantage).
