Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an international multi-media business who is looking to hire a Digital Acquisition & Programming Manager to be based in their Dubai office, acting as a main point of contact for external distributors and managing all digital programming.
Your main responsibilities will be managing the relationship between the business and its distributors, such as studios and producers. You will evaluate, select and negotiate the content, for everything from TV series, Movies and managing the digital space such as rights, runs and license periods. Monitoring competitors on a daily basis, you will be responsible for handling and managing the yearly content budget for digital, coordinating with the operations team, and communicating the content strategy to the relevant departments across the company.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have third level education, with at least 7 years’ experience in a similar role in the media sector, with excellent knowledge of digital acquisition, programming and digital platform management.
