Job description / Role
The Digital and Social Marketing Coordinator is a creative individual who will be responsible for the execution of digital strategies on online platforms as directed by the Operations Manager. The incumbent would also be responsible for in store digital marketing in addition to social media platforms.
- Ensure all products are uploaded onto the website in a timely manner and as per company guidelines
- Utilize the content management system in line with company needs and guidelines
- Categorize products in line with company guidelines to assist ease of customer discovery and to generate positive engagement
- Assist in submitting content upload updates and summaries to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
- Review all content on site to ensure content is optimized and in line with requirements, is relevant to the consumer market and language is reflective of the Company brand
- Assist teams with promotional activity through online marketing, email activity etc.
- Regularly update and manage online content highlighting any key activities such as launches of new products or promotions
- Continually optimize digital touch points to ensure customers have a reason to return to the site
- Assist with content improvements by proactively researching competitor activity in the local and international market in order to ensure a par is maintained
- Analyze and propose improvements and produce relevant reports related to analytics or any issues
- Manage social media marketing campaigns and competitions
- Day to day social media account management developing relevant topical content to reach brands target audience
- Execution of the Company’s social media strategy with support and guidance from the Operations Manager
- Creation of editorial and content calendars in a timely manner, ensuring execution of this is also within agreed timeframes
- Manage and execute all in store digital content in line with brand value and guidelines
- Prepare monthly metric and insight reports for all platforms
- Support with online content creation for website and all other digital assets and platforms
Requirements:
University Qualifications: High School Diploma
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
Specialist knowledge:
- Computer Proficiency
- In depth knowledge of SEO criteria
- Website Content
- CMS and Email Template Programs
- Photoshop/ InDesign/ Adobe illustrator/ Publisher
- Copywriting
- Google analytics/Google AdWords
