Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The purpose of this position is to manage digital projects, working closely with product managers, the UX and front-end development teams, IT, and the digital sales and self-service functions. Operational efficiency is a key component of the digital channel team, ensuring deadlines are met at the required budget and quality. The candidate will be championing the use of agile project management; utilising scrum and Lean UX delivery frameworks wherever possible.

Key accountabilities
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an on-going basis.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Effectively apply project methodology and enforce project standards.
• Prepare for engagement reviews and customer assurance procedures.
• Minimize exposure and risk on project and ensure appropriate escalation to the senior management.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Deliver Projects within agreed and established timelines
• Support the Digital Delivery Director with regards to developing and maintaining processes across the digital channel; and capacity managing the digital channel team resources
• Utilize best practice agile methodologies to ensure digital capabilities are delivered in a fast, iterative, customer focused and quality manner
• Measure performance of project and produce required dashboards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or Marketing or Business Management related field or equivalent experience
• Project Management Certification
• Preferable Scrum Master Certification
• 5 years of delivering customer facing projects for the web and native/hybrid apps.
• Preferable experience working within a Software and/or Telecoms industry

Knowledge and skills:
• Latest Digital Technologies
• Familiar with Industry leading Agile Project Management tools & Capabilities
• Familiar with Lean UX and agile web development processes such as prototyping, wireframing, agile software development etc
• Broad knowledge of the products and services offered to du customers.
• People management experience (small or medium teams)
• Team leadership
• Ability to work in a fast changing, highly dynamic, geographically dispersed environment.
