Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Working across social and digital media and driving the implementation of initiatives to identify the most relevant key influences related to outbound travel to Britain from the Gulf Markets; and to enhance the user engagement delivery against the regional key performance targets.

SPECIFIC TO THE JOB:
- Good understanding of VisitBritain’s role, general business and marketing approach
- Excellent knowledge of the digital & online landscape and consumer trends in GCC, and good understanding of the market dynamics and culture
- Good understanding of the GCC travel industry, UK tourism landscape and key tourism players
- Good experience in online marketing and social media, preferably from a digital agency background
- Good relationship building with different stakeholders, particularly social influencers
- Good planning and administration skills, including financial management and experience of making limited budgets go a long way, and good awareness of corporate governance requirements
- Global perspective and experience of dealing with different cultures
- Influencing & negotiation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels - locally and internationally, internally and externally
- Educated to university-level standard, preferably with a marketing qualification
- Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English
- Flexibility – ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously

SALARY: 15,500 AED PER MONTH all inclusive
