Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

* The role holder will work closely with the AME FCC Heads and will have regular interaction with FCC Management Team. The scope of this role is wide ranging and covers a broad spectrum of activities with a combination of routine, project and ad-hoc work.
* Develop and implement effective communication and stakeholder engagement plans both internally and externally
* Identify & drive initiatives to streamline regional activities & processes to deliver on the collective agenda & strategic priorities

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Strategy

* Support the AME FCC Heads to deliver the effectiveness of the FCC operational excellence agenda across AME through the management of budgets, communication, infrastructure and the people agenda.
* Support planning and agenda execution, risk and issue management, governance reporting and various activities relating to the effective operations of AME FCC.
* Proactively track and measure the performance of the regional FCC team in delivering the FCC agenda across the Region, and identify gaps and actions required

Business

* Support the AME FCC Heads in aspects of leading the FCC team
* Manage agendas, track action items and deliverables for various regular 1:1 meetings or Group meetings.
* Proactively support the AME FCC Heads in preparation of senior management meetings/forums, including agenda setting (where relevant), minute taking and follow through on action items from these meetings.
* Review papers on behalf of the AME FCC Heads working with FCC Country Heads and other the AME FCC Management Team or their teams.
* Support the AME FCC Heads in defining and executing the functional strategy and agenda across AME.

Processes

* Execute a disciplined budget process and accurate forecasting for AME FCC according to agreed functional standards.
* Provide reports to the AME FCC Heads on the Region's budget and forecasts on a regular basis.
* Monitors costs vs. budget on a regulator basis
* Prepare or co-ordinate preparation of information and briefings required for management, risk governance and external meetings attended by the AME FCC Heads.
* Work with the AME FCC Management Team to ensure strong communication through multiple channels throughout the function.

People and Talent

* Promote and embed a culture of openness, trust and risk awareness, where ethical, legal, regulatory and policy compliant conduct is the norm.
* Stimulate an environment where forward planning, prioritisation, deadline management and streamlined workflows and collaborative, inclusive yet effective and efficient work practices are the norm.
* Collaborate with training teams to input to training curriculum to support closing of capability gaps.
* Evaluate current and anticipated resources in terms of people, systems and process changes required to have an effective FCC Operations function
* Maintain open positions tracker for roles within AME FCC.
* Organise Face to Face meetings for the AME FCC Heads as required.

Governance

* Undertake analysis of data, developed fact bases and provide reports or other information on specific matters as directed by the AME FCC Heads.
* Maintain the FCC Business Team Information e.g. organisational charts, distribution list etc.
* Attend relevant leadership meetings as required by the AME FCC Heads.
* Support FCC Governance Initiatives including Reviews, Audits, reporting etc.
* Develop, track and follow up on FCC related action plans

Project/Change Management

* Ensure projects sponsored, led by or involving the AME FCC Heads are on track and provide support, follow-up or execution where needed.
* Lead or support specific projects or initiatives as required on behalf of the AME FCC Heads.
* Support AME FCC Heads in the delivery of strategic initiatives and agendas across the Region.

Regulatory & Business conduct

* Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures.

Requirements

* Relevant undergraduate degree in Law, Compliance, Risk Management, Commerce and/or Economics .
* Relevant professional certification in financial crime compliance, such as ACAMs, is desirable
