Director of English

We are looking for an outstanding Director of English to join us at The Cambridge High School, Abu Dhabi. This is a fantastic opportunity for educators to start or continue their international career with a leading global education company. In support of the school curriculum, we are looking for a Director of English who is excited to join our school and is driven to provide education at an exceptional level.

Requirements

The successful applicant should have the following:

• Bachelor's degree in the related subject. A certified teaching qualification such as BEd, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent with a specialization in English Minimum of 4 years of solid and demonstrable full time English teaching experience in a Secondary School.
• Proven track record of achieving 'Outstanding' GCSE, AS and/or A-Level results in a British Curriculum School.
• At least 2 years of experience of leading and managing a team to achieve 'Outstanding' outcomes.
• A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and beyond the classroom.
• Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents.
