Job description / Role
A real estate development company in Dubai is looking for a Director of Facilities Management to join their team team.
This role will head the entire Facilities Management (FM) functions of the company and will report directly to the CEO. She/he will specifically oversee the entire facilities management operations of the company starting from the property development stage to the day to day operations and directing its business development activities, exploring new business opportunities in relation to the FM Functions.
The job holder will create a strong external and internal client-focus and manage multiple projects simultaneously; creating and managing highly organized systems for a facilities management department.

• Planning and overseeing building civil and renovation fit out management; including Property acquisition and/or disposal & core testing.
To be successful in this role, you must be commercially aware and have knowledge and understanding of industry trends and technical innovations and their impact on managing customer business requirements. You will have a high level of market awareness and ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and appropriately prioritize tasks, and keep abreast of the latest technology.
Requirements
• A bachelor's degree specialized in Mechanical / Electrical engineering.
• At least 15+years of professional experience in facilities management in large organizations, where a minimum of 5 years should have been in managing the entire facilities management functions within the organization.
• Experience in managing FM functions in all kinds of real estate development.
• Extensive knowledge of the real estate industry and market conditions in the Middle East.
• Along with previous experience, you must have a strong work ethic, competitive drive, and entrepreneurial spirit. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills are required.
Fluency in Arabic is an added advantage.
