Director of Sales - UAE Experience

Essential and optional requirements
- Represent and participate in trade and industry organizations
- Supervise sales executives and support staff
- Coordinate sales activities with other departments of the hotel with particular emphasis on ensuring a good working relationship with the Front Office and-Food & Beverage Department
- Preparation of all monthly sales reports, indicating the results of the past 30 days of sales activities
- Responsible to achieve the occupancy and average room rate, which is projected in the budget. Therefore close liaison with the Front Office Manager is essential
- Periodically evaluate and analyses all competitive conditions of other hotels and make appropriate recommendations to the General Manager
- Target Sales team through Account Management and personal objective
- Set overall department objectives for following working 12-month period. Within these objections set goals and targets for each team members, follow-up and assess quarterly
- Management and strategizing of all assigned key targeted accounts ensuring maximum market share as required through participation in Corporate Program
- Appraise on a quarterly basis within company appraisal structure and personal 'one to one' accompanied activities
- Identify and develop new markets within these accounts to further expose Majlis Grand Mercure Residence
- Liaise with all other relevant Global and Local Sales Departments to maximize Majlis Grand Mercure Residence activities within these accounts
