Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are in search of an experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales process, including developing and executing sales strategies, managing sales staff, and establishing and maintaining relationships with clients.

At our 25hours Dubai One Central hotel, you'll be the public face of 25hours and represent the hotel on the market. Thanks to your close contacts with our clients, you'll ensure that we always have a full house and the best events.

Job Scope:

Business Development

- Strategic Account Management and New Business Development across all segments to meet financial goals.
- Represent the hotel at road shows, trade fairs and attend international sales calls/trips to maximise market exposure and new market development.
- Maximise revenue generation based on segment, source and geo-graphic source market analysis.

Measure and Report success

- Develop annual Commercial Plan aimed to deliver financial targets.
- Establish annual revenue targets per team member and account and utilize as measurement tool.
- Record Sales activities and accomplishments through CRM, Sales trip reports and Executive Summary.

Leadership

- Lead, manage and develop Sales team.
- Contribute to overall Commercial Strategy of the hotel complex through collaboration with Hotel, Marketing and Revenue leadership.
- Support the hotel's Vision and annual targets as proactive and contributing Management team member.

Other Responsibilities

- Ensure achievement of annual financial room revenue targets
- Contribute to & execute a commercial plan for S&M to accomplish overall strategy and targets.
- Lead, manage and develop the Sales team and contribute to overall S&M and hotel strategy as Commercial leader.
- Key account management and new business development within pre-defined market segment and geographic source markets.
- Ensure all business development activities are fully aligned with 25hours Brand Standards.

Requirements

Qualifications

- Degree in Business Administration and/or Hospitality Management
- Minimum of five years' experience in international luxury hospitality sector, preferably exposed to MENA region.
- Team leadership, coaching, development, recruitment and alignment within Sales, Marketing and Revenue teams.
- Strategic Commercial planning and execution
- Proactive, passionate, action orientated and result driven.
- Organized, disciplined, dedicated, loyal and a self-starter.
- Focused, energetic and flexible leader with vision.
- Fluent in English and preferably additional foreign languages.
- Assertive but with a diplomatic approach to business.
- Must possess top level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- High level commercial & decision making skills.
- Presentation and public speaking attributes.
- Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows - based computer applications.
