Job description / Role
This position is under the direct supervision of Dubai Protective System. This position is responsible for professional security protection, safeguarding, safety of assets, property, personnel and customers at various client locations and business.
Responsibilities include:
• Appear for Dubai Protective System training and pass the exam to obtain the security license to work in Dubai as a Security officer
• Protect property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, trespassing, fire and accidents
• Observing and reporting of any unlawful activity
• Performing security patrols by company or client vehicle and/or on foot
• Access control in the designated workplace
• Crowd control in public areas
• Watch for safety and fire hazards and other security related situations
• Provide any needed assistance to customers, employees, visitors or pubic
• Perform requests by the client, within the scope of our duties or within reason
• Ability to communicate efficiently in English language, both verbally and in written form
• Obey the laws of U.A.E
• Maintain the professional standards of security personnel by following the policies and procedures of company
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the security supervisor or management team
Requirements
• DPS License holder - this is essential
• Previous experience working in the UAE
• Good physical appearance (well groomed, good presentation)
• Confident and approachable
• Good English language skills
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of UAE laws would be an advantage
