Job description / Role

Our company, ETST Industrial Engineering LLC is looking for a skilled 2D/3D Draughtsman to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of the 2D/3D Draughtsman will be to be able to general drawings using Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Tekla Structure and other related software. In this role, you will be required to meet with Engineers to discuss design concepts for processing plants and mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establish 2D/3D drawing from tender stage to design stage such as site layout plan, process flow diagrams, sections, elevations and general arrangement drawings.
• Conduct site visits to gather necessary dimensions and information for drawings and layouts.
• Coordinate with engineers, other draftsman and vital people to discuss design ideas.
• Attend technical meetings, report problems and deficiencies in the design and brief to an appropriate person.
• Provide/suggest technical advice and assistance to the production team.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from the team and client.
• Review work orders and procedural manuals and confer with vendors and design staff to resolve problems and modify design.
• Create and implement work methodologies and strategies in order to translate and convert hand drawings and sketches into CAD systems for Engineer’s review.
• Ensuring designs meet required safety and structural standards.
• Finalizing design, presenting models to clients and completing job reports

Requirements

• Having experience in the design of bulk material handling is essential. Examples of systems includes: batch bins, feeders, material weighing, pneumatic conveying, mixing, diverters, sorters, unit load formers, baggers, palletizers, stackers, robots, and stretch wrappers.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and Tekla Structure software.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of sheet metal, machine design, and steel structural platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant degrees.
• Previous work experience as a Draughtsman.
• Knowledge on Mechanical Components and Processing Plants.
• Advanced knowledge of Mathematics, Science and Engineering.
• Knowledge of state safety and structure regulations.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
