Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare the design of a wide range of infrastructure projects involving HV, MV, LV, ELV systems Dry utilities, Utility corridors and substation design, including production of technical reports, written calculations, design briefs, specifications, drawings, schedules, contract documentation and the like.
- Preparing the production of deliverables such as: drawings, specifications, scopes of work, calculations, technical reports, datasheets, tender documentation, requisitions, estimates, budgets, schedules, and technical queries.
- Contributing to appropriate studies/optioneering of solutions, analyses, and recommendation of suitable actions.
- Contributing to protection coordination, arc flash hazard assessments and defining mitigating solutions.
- Reviewing vendor documentation and checking interfaces within a brownfield infrastructure project.
- Preparing documentation for and participating in project design reviews, HAZIDs/HAZOPs and Safety in Design Workshops.
- Follow design guidelines, standards, and procedures to effectively execute assigned work.
- Adhere to assigned budgets and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Check compliance with QA/Safety/Environment goals.
- Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Worley Quality Management System.
- Safety - Responsible for personal safety and implementing safe working practices.
- HSE - Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

Job Specific Knowledge:
- Familiar with British, European and International standards and other construction practices.
- Knowledge in the design of a range of:
- Dynamic system studies,
- Experience with earthing analysis software, CDEGs (desirable),
- Experience with system study software package DIgSILENT PowerFactory,
- Experience with system study software packages such as ETAP and Power*Tools for Windows,
- Delivering electrical detailed design of switchgear, MCCs and LV switchboards,
- Electrical calculations required for design,
- Preparing design drawings including SLDs, schematics, terminations ad general arrangements,
- Preparing ITPs, MTOs, datasheets, specifications, methodologies, procurement, and construction scope of works,
- Power systems modelling and analysis for HV and LV electrical systems, protection setting coordination and arc flash analysis,
- Protection, earthing, arc-flash and lightning systems studies.
- Knowledge in the use of industry software.

Requirements

Job Specific Experience:
- Relevant design experience on a range of industrial infrastructure projects.

Preference will be given to candidates with: -
- Experience working in the Middle East.
- Experience in industrial infrastructure projects.
- Experience in port and harbour projects.
