Electrical Engineer

Job description / Role

• Preparation of Shop drawings and Load Schedules
• Preparation of Single Line Diagrams for MDB, SMDB & DB’s
• Coordinate with civil engineers and all concerned parties on the project.
• Designing complete Electrical drawings for Building Electrical Installation
• Maintenance and Fire alarm systems.
• Supervision controlling and utilizing of workers at site.
• Supervision of telephone pre-wiring, Fire Alarm work, Tray &Trunking work, building security systems, Electrical cabling works, BMS cabling work, slab conduit & wall conduit works, L.V. Panel erections, Earthing system, Access Control system, Voice & Data Structured cabling works and all other low current systems.
• Coordinate with consultant and all subcontractors and monitor the daily progress.
• Selection of specified electrical materials such as Switch Gears, Cables, etc, ensure all materials are available in store and as per project/maintenance plan specification.

Requirements

• DEWA approved Engineer
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree or additional certifications are a plus.
• Proven work experience as an Electrical Engineer in the building construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical design and engineering principles, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for electrical design and analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
• A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies in electrical engineering.
