Electrical Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) industry, with a focus on electrical systems. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems and components to required specifications, focusing on efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

Responsibilities:
- Designing electrical systems and components for MEP projects, ensuring compliance with SEWA & DEWA regulations.
- Developing and implementing electrical control systems, including lighting, power supply
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within MEP projects.
- Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for electrical installations and upgrades.
- Performing regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering & equivalency certificate
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design software.
- Strong understanding of relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulations
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
