Job description / Role
We are currently Seeking for an Electrical Estimator to work with one of the leading International MEP contractor in Dubai.
Job role & responsibilities:
- Plan and measure or estimate the project cost of electricity required by the building. Work for contracting businesses or for electricians.
- Build up the cost estimates by analyzing the materials and labor needed to complete the project.
- Must explain the cost of wasted materials and possible delays in the project.
- Must have an exact impression, know the risks involved in the projects, create production schedules, etc.
- Prepare work and guidelines and create drawings for distribution systems and new consumers.
- Confer with customers and recommends appropriate locations, wire, and transformer sizes; operate City vehicles; and perform related work as required.
Requirements
- Must be graduate in (Bachelors degree or Diploma in Electrical engineering).
- Should be skilled in math and have the ability to predict the possible issues of the project.
- Must have good communication skills, must be able to read blue prints, electrical works, what materials are needed on the project and basic computer skills.
