Electrical Site Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design review and testing & commissioning of street light network, landscape lighting, swimming pools, AC system, ventilation system, firefighting system etc. Ensure that design complies with authority’s requirements.
• Review the material submitted by the Contractor and ensure the compliance with specification.
• Design review of swimming pool, heat cool pumps, self-priming pump dosing system, booster pump, etc. Ensure the design complies with related approval from different authority such as DCD, DM, DEWA.
• Review the drawing & design before DEWA approval submittal. Follow up with Contractor as well as DEWA for getting approval to maintain all files and records on designated forms/format. Ensure that the contractor is not relieved of his responsibility without client authorization.
• Firefighting pumps station and irrigation pump station related issues/problem resolve through the contractor.
• Verify/Review the Irrigation/FF network accessories such as NRV, air release valves, etc. are compliant with the required specifications.
• Coordinate with DEWA/contractor for execution of LV/HV work.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in design review/site MEP or swimming infrastructure utilities, street lighting, landscape lighting.
• Experience in dealing with government authorities such as DEWA.
• Thorough knowledge of DEWA regulations and standards.
