Job description / Role
Electrical Technician for an Oil and Gas Company in the UAE
• Acts as Performing Authority within the ISSOW process
• Responsible for team compliance with Control of work standards & procedures
• Minimize production impact of electrical maintenance activity without compromising quality
• Supports CMMS best practices e.g. entering accurate job plans data, failure codes and remarks develops maintenance plans and CMMS best practices
• Ensure equipment reliability remains at its highest level in his area of expertise by reinforcing the use of proactive and predictive techniques
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrician in process industry and in HV or MV systems
• Knowledgeable in Electricity wiring Regulations 3rd edition UAE electrical wiring code and/or BS 7671 and/or IEC 60364
• Strong background in HS&E/ COW /CMS/OMS standards
• Must have experience in high Voltage Electrical Safety Training to IEC, OSHA, NFPA or EN Standards
• Good teamwork and communication skills
