Job Description
- To inspect, clean, maintain, and repair all electrical switchgear and distribution networks and systems.
- To maintain and repair all electrical appliances.
- To replace electrical light bulbs and fluorescent tubes according to schedule or if required.
- To inspect, clean, maintain, and repair all electrical lighting fixtures, floodlighting, neon signs, and emergency lighting installations.
- To maintain emergency power supply and uninterruptible power supply systems.
- To service electrical motors and controls.
- To carry out preventive maintenance tasks on all electrical equipment.
Requirements
- To be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these meticulously at all times.
- To observe cleanliness at the place of work and on the job after completion of work.
- To supervise closely all applicable rules of safety in the workplace.
- To ensure cleanliness of appearance and uniforms, particularly when working in guest areas.
- To be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub sections of the Engineering Department.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor and the Assistant Director of Engineering.
