Job description / Role
Emirati Marine Surveyor up to 21k AED for a Maritime Company in Dubai, UAE
• Open to Emirati nationals
• Male, 40 years old and below
• Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime or any related course
• Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience, minimum 2 yrs experience as Chief Officer
• Over 4 yrs experience in fault-identification, survey & inspections, maintenance procedures and process of rectification of identified deficiencies are essentials
• Experience in conducting inspection on vessels engaged on international voyages as Port State Control (PSC) Inspector, fault-identification, survey & inspections, maintenance procedures and process of rectification of identified deficiencies are vital
• Basic knowledge of all types of marine crafts used as pleasure craft
• Knowledge in international marine transportation rules and regulations, International Maritime Organization (IMO) codes, conventions and guidelines
• A team leader with a positive outlook and clear focus on quality output and integrity
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent administrative and communication skills
• Can join immediately (max 1 month)
• Work Location: Dubai, UAE
Requirements
• Salary is up to 21,000 AED depending on qualification and experience plus annual ticket allowance up to 16,800 AED and medical insurance for self and family.
