Job description / Role
We are seeking a consultant or senior consultant to join a uniquely UAE specialism known as Emiratisation. Established ten years ago, Hays Emiratisation was a market pioneer in providing dedicated recruitment for UAE nationals into the public sector and private corporations. The team is now seen as thought leaders in this space, providing dedicated salary guides, events and commentary to the media. It is a job-rich, candidate-led market with excellent job salaries/fees. Relationship management and cultural understanding are key to success in this space.
Reporting to the Business Manager (a successful Hays UK transferee), you will be responsible for full 360 recruitment responsibilities while maintaining and developing clients and Emiratisation candidates from a variety of different professional backgrounds. You would specialise in either commercial functions (sales/marketing) or technical functions (IT/engineering), depending on your prior expertise.
Requirements
We are seeking a consultant with strong fee performance on either a commercial or technical desk, who is able to balance candidate sourcing and management of multiple job pipelines. You will be inquisitive and interested in learning about the UAE culture. Emirati culture is very strong on trust and relationship building, so we are looking for a recruiter who really enjoys meeting people and building relationships over time. High emotional intelligence, influence and persuasion skills will be key.
