The Emiratisation Specialist will be responsible for implementation of the Emiratisation strategy to attract and retain National Talent, promote career opportunities within the company, and provide guidelines and mechanisms for the business and other HR units to increase the headcount of talented UAE Nationals. They will work together with the Emiratisation Manager to drive Emiratisation initiatives that promote Emirates Group as an Employer of choice for UAE Nationals.

In this role, you will:

- Work with the Emiratisation manager to implement the strategy for Emiratisation within the company. Deliver on the annual plan regarding potential opportunities for both fresh graduates and experienced UAE Nationals in collaboration with HRBP, leading to an overall increase in the headcount of talented UAE Nationals.
- Maintain and enhance the Groups reputation as an employer of choice amongst the UAE National community in collaboration with the Partnerships team. This will be achieved through formal events such as job fairs, speaking engagements and media campaigns. Manage and support all the logistical requirements of external events such as career fairs, open days, school visits and road shows etc, ensuring that the event runs smoothly.
- Help to drive the retention strategy to retain UAE Nationals at all levels. This involves suggesting and implementing new initiatives to develop appropriate reward and recognition mechanisms to support the retention of UAE Nationals. Measure the effectiveness of Emiratisation strategies and provide relevant insights and feedback to enhance engagement levels of UAE Nationals.
- Responsible for delivery of the experience for UAE Nationals from hire to retire ensuring a proactive approach to managing all matters relating to UAE Nationals, in terms of candidate attraction, engagement and communication. Maintain a close working relationship with HRBP, keeping abreast of high profile/sensitive cases such as grievances etc.
- Maintain professional relationships with appropriate external institutions (locally and internationally) as well as with the Business, HRBP, L&T and Recruitment to gain buy in and influence nationals progression taking into consideration account management, compensation, talent management and training.
- Work in partnership with other areas of HR to ensure the right level of focus is applied on UAE National employee relations activities and that any concerns or issues are channelled through the correct mechanisms and align with the broader Emiratisation strategy. Work with other areas of HR to continuously refine the People Experience for UAE Nationals in terms of day to day employment matters.
- Work closely with HRBP on the design, implementation and facilitation of the Groups High Potential UAE Nationals Programme. This will entail setting, updating and managing a selection criteria/process in close coordination with the respective line managers and head of departments to identify eligible UAE Nationals.
- Identify and propose improvements with a focus on Emiratisation and promote feedback mechanisms to influence the continuous improvement of services and process. Lead projects and support on larger/more complex projects by collaborating with colleagues and ensure stakeholders are communicated with and changes are successfully implemented.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources within Talent Acquisition, designing employee engagement tools and Emiratisation or National Development.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships amongst partners.
- Ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships and wide networks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a strong preference for networking with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Good understanding of the UAE National market/community.
